Change Request Owner Owning a Request

All requests must have a change request owner
- This person is responsible for the request and can be different from the requestor
- They must ensure the request is filled out correctly
A member of the change request owner group can pick up requests from the Change Requests Queue
A Domain Admin can assign (or re-assign) a request owner by hovering over the Request Owner area (which will show "unassigned" or the name of the owner), clicking the button which will open a modal, and selecting an owner from the dropdown list.

The change request owner will fill out the request by ensuring the Initial Request tab is complete and answer the questions on the Request Details
Change request owner must answer the required fields and mark the work scope, impact of change, product data setups required and additional actions
Marking certain questions will create change orders in the work plan
This will be the set of tasks that must be completed in order to complete the request
Marking release to product = yes will automatically trigger the next revision to go from numeric to alpha for product change and vice versa for tooling changes
Marking form, fit or function change = yes will trigger a change order to create a form, fit or function customer notification through the FFF order
Marking ASP verification complete = no will trigger a change order to review ASP impacts
Marking WIP, inventory or finished goods... will allow user to download CIVR form

As the change request owner answers questions regarding the request, change orders are created in the work plan
You can edit the name of the change order, the priority and the assignee
You can also add optional instructions for the specific change order
Product change orders require an effort estimate

Once all change orders for a change request are complete, the change request is marked complete
Completed change requests and change orders will no longer show in your tasks or in the queue, but can be found in Search page
